    No, attendance is not mandatory and all classes are recorded.

  • Do I need to know Persian to join?

    All of our classes are bi-lingual.

  • When do the classes meet?

    The Hafiz reading circle meets every Saturday at 11 AM Eastern time. The Rumi reading circle meets every Sunday 11 AM Eastern time.

After living and studying in Jordan, Turkey, Kuwait, and Iran, Detroit native Muhammad Ali Mojaradi is hosting Rumi and Persian classes in his Manhattan home. His first translation, "The Flame of Love," was published in 2025.
