Saʿdī Shīrāzī’s ‘Pand-nāma’ or ‘Book of Wisdom,’ also known as ‘Karīmā’ (literally ‘O Kind one’ from the famous opening line above: ‘karīmā bibakhshāy bar ḥāl-i mā’) is a classic text written in the rhyming couplet (masnawī) style, like the Būstān.
